Download and installation of the free Second Life-Software and some days preparation in the newcomer area to know the most important functions like building an avatar, moving around, teleporting, using the sound equipment etc. Second life has an enormous educational potential and is insofar a very interesting platform to become familiar with. Persons, who are interested to get a fully equipped system like this, but have not the possibility to build it themselves can contact me under igdskdv(ad)yahoo.com.
For participants using a laptop, please look at the requirements given by LindenLab (developer of Second Life): http://secondlife.com/corporate/sysreqs.php.
